OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with the new government on Tuesday, May 14. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“yeah. We are waiting for such a meeting," Peskov announced.

Earlier, Putin appointed Dmitry Kochnev as director of the Federal Security Service (FSO), Sergei Naryshkin as director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), and Andrei Belousov as Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The State Duma on Tuesday approved all 16 proposed candidates for the positions of ministers of the government of Mikhail Mishustin. Among them, the Cabinet of Ministers included five new participants: Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev, Transport Minister Roman Starovoit, Head of the Ministry of Agriculture Oksana Lut, Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, as well as Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev.
